Mosier Community School

Mosier Community School is a small rural school located five miles east of Hood River and 15 miles west of The Dalles.
The Community consists of a cafe, church, market, gas station, grange, post office, library, fire station, and artist co-op with the school as the center of it all.
The school was built in 1920 and until 1963 was a 1st-12th grade school. In January 2003, the Chenowith School District approved the charter application forMosier to become a Charter School known as Mosier Community School.
Currently the school consists of grades Kindergarten through Fifth but will add Sixth grade beginning August 2004. |
