- For the 2002-2003 school year, I have once again redefined my duties. I will be teaching the StRUT class at Wahtonka High School in addition to being webmaster and assisting teachers with technology integration. In the afternoon each day I will journey to South Wasco County High School in Maupin where I will teach web design, video production, and other technology application courses. The rest of my time at South Wasco will be spent assisting staff with technology integration and assisting my wife, Theresa, with management of the district network. I am also working toward a Masters in Educational Technology through the Boise State EdTech program. I also teach an evening class or two each year for educators and future educators through Columbia Gorge Community College.
- During the 2000-2001 school year, I worked with several teachers and students on digital video projects. Here are some samples:
- "Welcome to Wahtonka", a high school Service Learning project
- "The Garden Dream", an elementary video project
- "Commercials", a high school English class project

- The photo above shows me with Anita Donivan from the middle school at the US West/OEA Oregon Teacher Network project in Eugene during the summer of 1996. For more on that project, click the OTN logo below.
I was also a participant in (and then became webmaster for) the Region 9/Region 19 Technology Literacy Project during the spring and summer of 1997. You can found out more about it on our ESD site. Rich Wicksnin and I created a Wasco County History Site as our contribution to the Tech Literacy Project. During the summer of 1998, I was one of 12 Apple Educators selected from throughout the state to attend a week of training at CyberSchool in Eugene, Oregon. We would like to develop Cyberschool style courses for upper elementary and middle school students.
