Mustangs

By Laura

Mustangs are mammals. Mammal have fur and their young drinks mother's milk.

They chase their daughters away when they are 2 or 3 years old if they disobey or if they fight with another colt or filly or foal.

People can tell the mustang's age by the horse's teeth. Mustangs are the 6th fastest in the world. There hooves are their toenail. Some wild horses are called equus. Band stallion is a hard job because he protects the other horses. Mustangs breed in late spring. When they disobey the band stallion will bite the foal or filly so they will learn.

When they fight mustangs kick and bite to protect themselves.

Mustangs run when they're in danger to get away from the enemy. When mustangs nip that means that they want to fight or play with their friend or enemy.

Mustang live near grasslands to eat the grass. Mustangs live in groups called bands. Most mustangs live near or in western states.

I think people should enjoy the horses not kill them. Horses are nice to humans, not mean.
