Editors - Edit the Cougarville Newspaper which comes out monthly. The editors are 5th grade students.

• Reporters
  • Famous People Columnist - Recognize famous people in the Cougarville News.
  • Outside Cougarville Columnist - This job is for people that are hired to interview important people to our community for the Cougarville Newspaper.
  • Foreign Language Correspondent - Writes a newspaper piece for our Spanish readers. Includes a monthly word in Japanese and French.
  • Classroom Correspondence Columnist- Reporting on individual classroom's activities. Keeping Cougarville informed on upcoming classroom events, interests, ideas, and concerns.
  • Current Events Columnist - Writing Articles about events going on in Cougarville. This involves researching local history and writing about current up to the minute issues.
  • Art Corner Columnist - A short section sharing with the reader a piece of art and information about the work and the artist.
  • Office Liaison and Correspondent - 1. Provide the reader with up to date information about upcoming events - 2. Report on candy specials and other surprises - 3. Provide minutes to Cougarville student council meetings - 4. Report on garden updates and other ongoing projects - 5. Eventually,updated weather report from the weather station.
  • Book Reviews and Poetry Columnist- Writing a monthly review about a current or popular book. Organizing and submitting poetry,monthly.
